Importing team members from Brightspace

Before you start grading, you'll have to import your team from Brightspace. After the import, your team members will receive emails from Crowdmark inviting them to the assessment.

Importing graders and facilitators

  1. From your assessment Dashboard, click Team in the sidebar. You will see a list of team members.

  2. Click the Sync with Brightspace button. You will see a modal prompting you to:
    • Import new users that exist in Brightspace but not in your grading team. Crowdmark will default their roles to whatever your Brightspace team has configured. You can change these defaults or you can skip the import of a user by clicking the x to remove them from the list.
    • Remove users that exist on your grading team but are no longer in the Brightspace. To leave the user in Crowdmark and not remove them upon syncing, click the x to remove them from the list.

  3. Click the Sync button to import your team members and send out invitation emails.
     

Inviting uploaders

If you need to invite an uploader who does not have access to Brightspace (an off-campus print shop, for example), you can invite them by email.
  1. From your assessment Dashboard, click Team in the sidebar. You will see a list of team members.
  2. Click the Invite by email button. A form will appear.
  3. Type the uploader's email address into the field. Make sure Uploader is selected.

  4. Click Invite. Crowdmark will send an invitation email to the address you entered, prompting the uploader to sign in, or, if they are a new user, to activate their Crowdmark account.
